Need a Name!Have everything:Product,Location,Cu... do not know how to chose business or E-mail name?

Need a Business name and E-mail address what are the best ways to achive good results?

When choosing a business name:
-Make sure it is something people will remember, something that is unique but familiar, examples of prosperous businesses that went this route include WALMART, Best Buy, and Target

-The name should be short and simple but simultaneously represent the company as a whole, e.g. Toys R' Us, Blockbuster, Myspace...YouTube

-Choose something you truly like, be creative, you can even personalize the business name by using your own name, e.g. McDonald's, J.C. Penny's, Jenny Craig

For email names, throughout college I was told that you should use your full name to keep it professional and simple. But, you can also use the business name criteria to come up with something creative, simple, and descriptive of your product or purpose.

What are you selling?

As the man says, "What are you selling?"

Business names should easily convey to the customer what they can expect to find in your store. So, Freaky Franks Fiery Fixin's, may not be the best name to sell wood stoves with, as some people might think your a hot pepper bar or something even stranger.

A good name gives good recognition of your product, service or brand. If you want good suggestions, you'll need to give more information.

Good Luck!

Email names should be short. Something that people can remember to get back to you with.

Business names should be catchy. For your search look at successful companies and their names. One member said it has to be related to your company, which i dont agree all the way with. Starbucks has nothing to do with coffee. Gucci has nothing to do with fashion, but if you notice the SHORT NAMED, made it easier for people to remember. And if your business goes well then the name is carved in the head, because it is easy to remember. YOu can use the business name for your emails. Which again communicates well with your client. The most important way to think of a business name is how you can communicate that with your audience. It depends on what audience you have, small kids, teenagers... etc.

Good luck
