Looking for ALL the business listings in zip 07866?

I would use the information for fundraising purposes. All the websites I have found you have to input a business type, but I am trying to get the names and addresses for ALL the businesses listed in this zip code. Any ideas?

I don't think there is any such global directory. You might want to check local resources, such as local chambers of commerce as they often list the all the business members and partners. You might also want to check the business registry department at the state website to see if they provide an online searchable database. Another idea is to type the zip code into Yahoo or Google maps, and see what businesses in the area should show on the map.

But I think you are going to have to bite the bullet, and either just jhand compile all the the information based on business type or first concentrate on the types of business that you think might be most amenable to your appeal. For example, if you are fundraising for a health issue, doctors, pharmacists, and medical centers might be a good place to start. Compiling a donor list can be very time-intensive, but putting a little thought into it first can help you maximize your results.

Call your local library and ask if they have access to "Reference USA"

This is an incredible database that many libraries pay for and let their users use.

Also, www.melissadata.com is a great lead generator, and if you call or email them and tell them what you want they may be able to do that for you. Average cost is 10 cents or less a lead.

Good luck

Don't select business type or size. Just select next until you get to geography and then, of course, enter your zip code. Shows nearly 1200 businesses in your zip.

Of course this is valuable info and they will want to be paid for it. How much is it worth to you? You can narrow it down by type, size and other parameters. Also if all you want is name and address, that will be cheaper than full record information.

If money is tight and time is not, then your local library will have business directories from InfoUSA, Dunn & Bradstreet and possibly others.

Good Luck
