Setting up another LLC at the same address as my existing LLC?

I currently have a solo member LLC for myself with my consulting business. Me and one of my collegues are planning to develop a LLC for selling on the web. I plan to set it up at my address. This is the same address as my other LLC. The new LLC will have 50%-50% ownership. Can I set up another LLC at the same address as my current one even though these two businesses are completely different?

Yes . Absolutely. The address is irrelevant. It only identifies where the state can contact you, or how your public information will appear. We have several corporations, LLC's, and partnerships with the same address of record.

There are no laws that I am aware of that restrict any person of owning/starting more than one company at the same address.

However, in most cases, you can setup business with the primary address being used for multiple companies/partnerships.

I see it all the time (especially in consolidated tax returns).
