Business Letter?

I'm currently making a formal business letter. I got the first things to write down (Date, address, Address sending to,etc.)
When it came to the body, What was i supposed to do?

P.S. (Business Letter to Microsoft trying to get background research from the company)

Since you don't give your reasons for doing this, one has to assume this information is needed for an assignment, as follows:

Dear Sir:
My name is ______ and I am a student at ____________. The reason for my letter is that one of my assignments is to obtain some background research from your company.

It would be most appreciated if you would respond with the following information. For example: what year was Microsoft established? What was your first major product? How big is your facility? How many employees do you have? (you can add a lot more here)

It would be extremely helpful if you could respond to these questions along with any other information that you think would be of interest to me.

My deadline is __________. Thank you for taking the time to help me in this matter.
