Business License Question?

I am starting my own business. I have my plan, funding, and I am ready to start. Now do I need to use my home address to get my license. I don not need an office for about 2 more months. So do I use my home address initially. Also to get my other permits and license do I need my past tax information i.e. returns and such or do they not get into that

You can use your home address temporarily for mail purposes, but, the hassle of changing it will be murder, if I know anything at all about government bureaucracy.
