How can I change my IP address so it shows that I am in US while in Europe?

I am frequently outside US for business trip and to watch some of my favorite shows, i.e. 24, prison Break and lost, the official web sites give me message that the service is not available from outside US. Can someone explain to me how I can change my IP address to by pass this problem

You need a proxy server - but, believe me, it wouldn't work. I am living in Germany myself (I am a German national) and I cannot watch any TV series/shows on U.S. websites, because it's all blocked by these U.S. websites...

All you can watch are some short very series or short movie clipss and the latest news on NBC, CBS or news clips from CNN or others.

You can download some cracked version of it using
emule or torrents.
Just install & run it. It'll do the job.
