He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Yes, I would and the people who say they would never vote for Ron Paul (because he is crazy, a nitwit, and is disconnected from reality) are nothing more than drones for the MSM and have proved beyond a doubt that they CAN NOT THINK FOR THEMSELVES!

No, On the foreign policy issues Mr. Paul shows that he hasn't a clue. The country would not be safe. You also left out another main issue. Mr. Paul cannot win the nomination, nor could he win as an independent. He is really a Libertarian. Would Republicans vote for Lieberman? The good senator would make a great Republican but he IS a democrat. As such, his party has abandoned him. I think Mr. Paul is in a similar circumstance. He just can't win.
