What should I do...?

The man I love is in Florida. I am in Arkansas. After I graduate, I am going to go down there for about a week, maybe two. I will come back, work in the WalMart home office, or some branch of it for a while to save up money. Then I have a decision to make. Do I transfer to Florida to be with him, or stay in Arkansas? My family looks down on the relationship. I love him more than words could ever express. He eventually wants to live in Ireland, but until then he wants to sail the world. He is buying a boat. What do I do?

You need to carefully evaluate your situation. You sound young, so heading down for a vaca with him should help solidify your decision and dilemma. After you are down there, you need to take some quiet time and write down the pros and cons of the relationship and all its variables. Try to remove your feelings for him and be as objective as possible. Oftentimes, parents know what is right for their kids. But decide for yourself with some serious self reflection and analysis. do what you should, follow your heart. if you are sure that this relationship is worth it, go with your heart. if you don't you will hate that you didn't. and with the family thing, love them from a distance if you have to, at least you would be happy.

You do what makes you truley happy. Think about it, if you really want to make that decision to move, then do it, because if you don't then you will live with the regret you never did!!!

This all sounds like it is going to take time. And things usually change with tiime. What do you do? You graduate. Then if you are still together when the time comes to visit him and you are still together, then visit him. Then go back and work at Wal-Mart and save money just as planned. When the time comes to move with him and you are still together, then move with him.

Does he have you in his plan? I mean he wants to move somewhere, does he tell you that he wants you with him? Do you feel that he cares for you and value your relationship? If yes, talk to him; you will certainly find a arrangement.

Thats tough. when does he wnat to sail the world? it sucks ebing in a situation like this. where its either your family or the person you're in love with. if you can honestly say to yourself and that you love him more than you can convey or promise, then follow your heart. you only live once. dont let love go to waste. your family should be happy that you've found someone. they'll come around.

Does he work at WalMart too. I'm sure you can sail the world on a WalMart salery. I'm sure since he's an internet bf he is wealthy right so there you go. :-)

hey Bridgett ! all i can say is if you believe that he is putting you and the things in life that will make you happy , FIRST, then you go and be with him. BUT if you have any reservations about this question i just asked you, STAY PUT !!!!
