If someone ran with this kind of trackrecord would you vote for them? if NO why not?

never voted to raise taxes.
never voted for an unbalanced budget.
never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.

never voted to raise congressional pay.
never taken a government-paid junket.
never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

voted against the Patriot Act.
voted against regulating the Internet.
voted against the Iraq war.

does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

-introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

I DID! But most people don't want real change....they want whims and war.

no

Not only would I vote for someone with that track record, I intend on voting for HIM during the NC Primary in MAY 2008. This candidate is the ONLY candidate worthy to receive my vote, and the only candidate that has viable solutions to the host of problems we face as a nation. He is the ONLY candidate committed to defending our liberties, and this nations sovereignty. His name is Dr. Ron Paul.

Because he isn't being backed by the Republican party as a front-runner, so he isn't getting the chance that he deserves

Unfortunately, this means that he cannot win the Republican nomination for the general election, so we won't be ABLE to vote for him (except as a write in, which we all know doesn't really help)

I would, definitely...but apparently the Murdock backed media does not want someone of the character to run for President..people are sheep, changing their votes to who they think will run.

I have never changed my mind....and Oprah, Teddy boy, John Kerry, etc. will never convince me to vote for Obama!

Yes, I would vote for that person in a heartbeat and urge all my friends and associates to vote for him also.

*****ELECT*****RON*****PAUL*****!

The issues listed are complex. You reduce them to simplistic generalizations that I'm sure exclude the varied aspects of these issues. E.g., on the Patriot Act alone, there are aspects that provide tools to support law enforcements' efforts to keep us safe (Obama supported those aspects of the PA) and aspects that infringe on personal freedoms (Obama did not support those aspects of the PA). The question you ask is, I believe, overly broad and too generalized to be able to really make much sense to argue yea or nay.

Your views intrigue me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Ron Paul has hardly any delegates. Are you expecting a miracle?

Forget about that. Is he promising "change"?

Definitely! And I am. He is not only promising change, he has the track record to prove that he will deliver.

I will still write him in this November. To me, it's the principle of not voting for another person who will further ruin this country. Ron Paul is the only choice.

p.s It's NOT the responsibility of the government to regulate internet content. That responsibility falls completely on the parents. Do you own job!!!

Wishful thinking to think that we could exist without ever raising taxes and it's not enough to vote against something unless you can propose a viable solution to the problem. Sorry to say but at some point and time one does have to make a stand on matters, difficult or not.

Ron Paul is pretty much finished. (sorry)

you pick 3 things out of someones entire life (all of which were just votes, and as a congressperson that was their job) and think that we should vote for them because of that? if that is all they have done in their life then no i would not vote for them, because they have not done anything.

never doing something is not the same as accomplishing something... sorry.

WOW this site is so biased towards Ron Paul.

Ron Paul seems like he really has Americans interest at heart. I'm voting for Huckabee

Sorry dude, but Ron Paul has about as much chance as the proverbial snowball in hell! He needs to switch teams. THEN, he might stand a chance!

NO. Absolutely not.
