Reasons to vote for Ron Paul?

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul鈥檚 Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.


I'd like to know who supports Ron Paul and for those of you that don't, please explain why. Thanks.

The question was: Why NOT vote for Ron Paul?

vote for him because:
1.anyone else in the oval office could prove to be more costly than we have seen previously.
2.He's a constitutionalist
3.has good understanding of the economy,and is honest about it.
4.He doesnt want to instill fear in the hearts and minds of the american people to perpetuate the elitists agenda of totalitarianism.
5.He understands why islamic extremism has targeted us,because of our occupation in their land for 17 years and counting.
6.Positive paradigm shift,from fear,to peace.
7.So we can look up to our President for once,instead of living in a society that loves to hate them,and mocks them.We could finally find a reason to enjoy and respect the leadership.

I support Ron Paul 100%. Those who claim he is an isolationist are just uneducated. Honestly, just because he supports non-intervention does not mean that he wants to cut off all contact and diplomacy with other nations. He wants MORE trade and better relations with foreign countries.
I honestly don't understand why some people won't vote for him because "he doesn't have a chance." If everybody thought that way then obviously we would have the wrong person elected president. If you like him and agree with his plans/views, than vote for him! People like that just really annoy me.

If he ever got the nomination, he would have my vote hands down. But I doubt that will happen =(

All the way he is my man. I don't go nowhere with out wearing proudly my Ron Paul 2008 button and sometimes I hear- who is he. I refer them quickly to the web site so they can see for themselves. I am a retired Air Force soldier and believe our soldiers need a man to protect them and their true interest. Ron Paul is clearly their choice and I defend their honor. I believe our troops should elect the President this time around. Especially since they are the ones fighting and dying for us. Their choice is my choice Ron Paul all the way.

I don't. His isolationist foreign policy, and his financial proposals, as well as some other positions are asinine.
