Why are post offices being advertised on TV when they're all getting closed down? |
Just heard on the news that plans have been unveiled for the closure of 65 post office branches in the north west and on the tv they're promoting the post office so what's the point on promoting post offices when they're getting shut down? Pretty stupid really... There are literally thousands of branches in the US. The closure of 65 small offices is not an indication that "all getting closed down". Its not just proportional to the closures, but most firms will advertise massively prior to imminent closure. So you see, its a very complex question. That to given your simply not sure what ulterior motives are lying behind their so-called expanding business. These are the same people who raised the cost of mailing a letter when e-mail is free. We're not talking about rocket scientists! LOL I've suspected for some years now that US Postal Service is in great trouble financially and in many other ways, primarily due to fact that the competetion from UPS and FedEX alone could never allow them to be any faster then they already are... |
