I got an email from a supposed yahoo.UK representative stating that I won 1 million British pounds. TRUE?

Do you have a yahoo.uk branch office and could you call me if this is a real matter and not some internet scheme? 330-966-4645

It's scam ! Mark it as such and forget all about it.
No one is giving away money unless he gets something off of you.
Unfortunately, ignoring does not solve the problem. The golden rule is to avoid replaying to any giving away anything. The more the vale the bigger the scam.
Responcible International authorities,like Interpol and local Police Forces with their Departements of Prevention of International Crime, like child molesting and paedophilia, should also cover this form of crime that tends to be like locust attack on the web.

SCAM !!!! this scam has been going on for years. they get you to call or email them with your personal info and sometimes ask for you to make a check out to them so they can release your funds and then they have your personal info and banking info and they drain your accounts and steal your identity.

in fact there is also a scam where someone gives out their phone number which is an overseas account and when you call they then have your number where use it for their scams and rack up costs to your phone. some ppl have been getting phone bills for thousands of dollars and there is nothing the u.s. phone companies can do because it is all overseas.

Of course it's NOT true - IF you ever do win a million pounds you will not be notified by e-mail - there will be a man knocking n your door with a cheque and a lot of suggestions as to how you could invest the money.

delete it and any more similar you get and forget it.

Now that you published your phone number for the whole world to read you may well get a lot of SCAM telephone calls now as well.

Definitely its a SCAM.Do not response to it and delete it.Block the sender and report it if you can.
