A Winning Award?

Last month I was informed in my email to win a lottory
held by yahoo concernig yahoo accounts claiming that
"Yahoo Mail! gives their members random cash prizes".
Furthermore, they said that "my details(e-mail
address) falls within their Spanish representative, as
indicated in the electronic balloting and my prize of
$720,000.00 USD will be released to me from this
regional branch office in Spain (=GRUPO Bilbao
security company S.L)".
I contacted them am filled in the forms and they sent
me the different certificates attached here and
EUROPEAN CONSULT MADRID ESPA乇A was introduced as the
bank transfering the award.
Tha bank wanted me to have a lawyer in Madrid to
assist me for the legalization of my payment file in
the Madrid high court of justice.

Scam Scam Scam.

At some point they will ask you to send them money in order to complete the transaction.

You send them the money and thats the last you hear!!!

Delete the emails and ignore any future contact from them.

I received such mail as well, but from Senegal. Just for fun I responded with a fake information (I wanted to see what they'd say.)
Another email from them was about a "fee" to send a check to me.
Here it is:

Compliments, the cost of posting your chaque to Chicago USA is $278 only, i will advice you to send the money through Western Union Money Transfer through the name of my secretary to enable her go and pick the money and post your chaque to you, Send to her the payment information here. below is her name and address,

I guess some people fall for this and send $278 and since they send millions and millions emails like this, they make a lot of money on this scam.
