Seperation of Church and State in USPS?

Does the constitutanial amendment of the seperation of Church and state pertain to the posto office? There is a branch down the street from me that plays religious sermins all day and has posters and pictures of people asking you to "join Jesus". There is not even 1 American Flag...but at least 9 picutres of people in prayer

Let's have a look at the Constitution here....

Amendment 1:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

So I'm not quite sure to what you question pertains? Congress has made no law here. In fact, should a law be made to prohibit such behavior, it would seem to me to be in direct violation of this first amendment.

Yes, since the Post Office is still largely government funded, it would have to abide the same regulations as a school or town hall.

For starters you need to brush up on your spelling, and secondly nowhere in the Constitution is there anything written that says Separation of Church and State, so therefore your question is not valid.

There is no Constitutional Separation of Church & State. There is freedom OF religion. Freedom to worship how you want, but the CSOC&S is a liberal myth.

Some say it is "implied" in the first Amendment. It is a term that was coined by Thomas Jefferson, but no where in the Constitution will you find those words.

If the posters are on a community bulletin board, then it is probably also protected under the 1st Amendment.

Scott T is right, separation of church and state does not currently exist as a law, never has. Some people have just been pushing so hard for it for so long that a lot of people have sort of assumed it into existence, in a way.

Find out where your district HQ is and complain or drop an email to Washington via the contact link at the bottom of the USPS.com homepage. Its not a Constitutional issue, its one of internal USPS policy.
