What is Cheney trying to hide?

House investigators have learned that over the objections of the National Archives, Vice President Cheney exempted his office from a presidential executive order designed to safeguard classified national security information.

鈥?Since 2003, Cheney鈥檚 office has failed to provide data on its classification and declassification activities as required by Executive Order 12958, which President Bush has amended and endorsed.

鈥?In 2004, Cheney鈥檚 office specifically intervened to block an on-site inspection by the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), which is a requirement of the executive order.

The Vice Presidents' Office asserts that it is not 鈥渆ntity within the executive branch鈥?and hence is not subject to presidential executive orders. Waxman writes, 鈥淭o my knowledge, this was the first time in the nearly 30-year history of the Information Security Oversight Office that a request for access to conduct a security inspection was denied by a White House office.鈥?/div>

Do we need the Supreme Court to step in here and explain to Mr. Cheney that he cannot reinvent the constitution to hide suspicious activitites?

Don't expect much from this Supreme Court. You know who appointed many of them don't you? Stacked deck I would say and stackd just for things like this.

That his only contribution to this administration was lining his pockets.

"What is Cheney trying to hide"......His cowardice comes to mind....(and if "waterboarding is not torture",and answers need be obtained, Get the hose.).......

Yes, isn't it ironic that Cheney is all for illegal wire tapping, email surveillance of citizens and right wingers defend it by saying "if you don't have anything to hide you shouldn't be worried" yet the torturer in chief isn't willing to divulge what he is legally compelled to?

Hypocrisy at its extreme...

He's trying to hide from the American people the fact that he's corrupt and a crook.

And you thought that Dick Cheney cared about the law? You are surprised that he is willing to manufacture his own definitions of what he must comply with? The man is evil.

Everything?

His Shoe Size

What do you expect from a man who shoots his friend in the face and his friend apologizes for being shot?
