Is it standard for a company to ask for two year's tax returns when renting an office?

We are an independent branch (financial advisor) of a large co.
We are in Los Angeles.
Leasing company has already pulled credit report.
This is for a 2 year lease on an office less than 700 sq. ft.
Thanks.

They are the owner/landlord and can request anything they want! You can supply them with some or all that you want! BUT they might not rent to you if you don't supply the required information!
