Why would anyone defend a politician?

The politics in this country are so messed up. They are all just a game for the wealthy. Our President now is a joke. Seriously has made some of the worst decisions. But is he any worse than Bill Clinton. The answer is no. They both were in office with their own agendas and when it came to crunch time they both failed.

Don't say "at least the economy was good when Clinton was in office", because any fool that has had a basic ecomonics class understands the economy works as a pendulum and the President has almost no effect on it. In fact, the actions the Executive Branch can take to effect the economy won't effect it for years.

Face it - They all are selfish rich people. Bush had the unlucky timing of coming into office after Clinton's administration let the 9/11 attack's planning go undetected or even more frightening, unstopped.

It's just disgusting because there is an incredible amount of violence, hardship, and hatred out there and the people in power don't fix it!

One big thing they could do is fix the healthcare in the country (USA). Healthcare should be one thing that is not driven by our greedy capitalist society, but yet there are all kinds of people that need healthcare, but won't get it cause they make an amount of money right in the middle. But someone poor can get assistance and have everything paid for. Then the rich guy down the street gets the best care. It's should not be that way! Unconstitutional!

I feel that people depend on politicians to tell them what the think and what is "right or wrong." There are far to many people that will support a person based entirerly on the party that they are for, no matter what that persons own beliefs and agendas are.

As for the health care... year it sucks... but the USA is so deep in the capalist hole..there is no way that anything will change.

So go make your money everyone...and pretend that someday you will have enough to make your happy. And maybe in this delusional belief that you will ever be satistifies with the money you have will make you happy.

Clinton set it up, bush knocked it down. Both claim incompetence and point fingers when both are crooks and need to be put in prison for high treason.

I would jump in front of a bullet to save George W. Bush and laugh out loud if I ever saw a judge get shot.

I don't know and I agree with you for the most part... I personally think Clinton was slightly better... but overall... I'm still not a big fan...

that said, it is our system and live with it or change it are the only options, both difficult and a long process.

let me start with the healthcare issue. Unfair is an annoying word to me, but I will try to overlook it. Why is healthcare so expensive in the U.S? Mostly because of the incredibly high liability insurance drs have to carry because of frivilous lawsuits. Another reason it is so expensive to stay in the hospital is, so many people who have chosen poorly in their lives and do not have sufficient health care benefits are still treated at the hospital, but the patients who do have sufficient insurance have to absorb the costs. Precious. People in this country - the majority - have the intelligence and resources to go to school and get a job with decent benefits. Other people piddle their lives away then get a minimum wage job with no benefits. Booooo hoooo. Why support a president? I support GWB because I feel with all sincerity that he is a man with the best of all intentions for our country and its safety - his first priority after all is our safety. He has Christian values and stands by them. I am incredibly proud of having him as my president. The more time I spend with my relatives who are democrats, the more I see why I choose to be a republican, and am darn proud of it.
