If you support RON PAUL why? If you support another candidate how is that person DIFFERENT from RON PAUL?

About me: --VOTE RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT IN '08!--
Brief Overview of Congressman Paul's Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Advocates a limited role for the federal government, low taxes, free markets, a non-interventionist foreign policy, and a return to monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency.

"We have lost our way and strayed from the free society our founders secured from us in the constitution" - Ron Paul.

I support Ron Paul because I believe that he is the only candidate who is not controled by the big money interests which are vying for control of my country.
I believe that these interests are determined to eliminate national sovreignity world wide, and we are the last hold-out. These are the same people who have pushed for free trade, and the exportation of our jobs. They are the same people who would have us subjugated to the WTO, and the UN in all national policy issues. They are the people who are pushing for the "Law of the Sea Treaty" to be ratified by our senate.
These people are the same people who want a "new world order", by which they would rule the entire world, with one very strong government, (dictatorship) which acted in it's own interests, without regard for the interests of individuals or nations.
The interests of this governmental entity would be first and foremost the enrichment of a select few banker types, who controled it, with all of us functioning as slaves for that enrichment.

I believe that we have to return to our Constitution. I believe that it is the only hope for our future. If we don't, we will continue down this path of big government, and lose our country.

I believe that if we vote for Ron Paul, and we elect him, we may have a chance to get back to the basics, and get our country back on track.

If you look at the last few presidents and you look at our Congress, you will see that there has been a lot of talk about illegal immigration, but nothing has been done about it.
Nafta was hailed as a wonderful thing because it opened our borders to free trade, and allowed our biggest trading partner, (Mexico) to have even more ability to compete.
The reality of Nafta, at least from my perspective is that it allowed the Japanese to find even better ways to avoid our tax laws, and keep the profits in their country, while American auto manufacturers have to pay the full allotment of taxes, and therefore cannot compete. The fact that the American auto manufacturers are still in business at all is a testament to the quality of their product. Nafta has also allowed American industries to relocate to Mexico in order to take advantage of the labor laws, which don't exist there, and avoid the ones which we have, in order to maximise their profits, thus we lose the jobs to virtual slave labor, and the big money people are richer.
If youlook at the "Most favored nation trading status" that we gave to China, that is also a wonderful thing, they also have virtual slave labor, and now they are flooding us with goods, which we happily sell at wal-mart, cheap, to Americans who can no longer afford to buy anywhere else, which, due to a lack of industrial standards, which we have here, are full of harmful substances, and we give those things to our children.
I don't believe that it matters which party you choose, Democrats and Republicans, if you vote for any of the major candidates, you are voting for more of the same.
I believe that the main reason that Ron Paul isn't getting the recognition he deserves from the news media is that the big money interests also control it, and he is their worst nightmare.

I believe that if we, the American people are to have a chance, we have to vote for Ron Paul, and take our country back.

I have been saying for some time, he has good ideas, and the bad ones can be controlled by a Democratic Majority. The best of Both Worlds!!!

I don't support Ron Paul.
I support a different candidate because I like it when people are honest about their political affiliation...Ron Paul is a libertarian pretending to be a Republican.

I like it when my candidate is mentally sound. He blames the government for 911 and then goes on the campaign trail begging to join it!

Update: This congress is a do nothing congress, I don't think they would put the effort into controlling Ron Paul's bad ideas...I can't take a chance that they will support the bad ideas and chuck the good ones. Sorry.

right now it seems like i support no one, probably Obama at the closest, ONLY IF HE didn't support illegal immigration.

As for Ron Paul, i think the problem is that because the taxes are so low, we are never going to be able to pay off our dept, and as for the "free-market" well... as you can see it isn't really fair for everyone. (though speaking as a Chinese person, i have to say it does really help china.)

Another thing, it's the problem with health-care. I really support health-care for everyone, i mean USA is like the only developed country that doesn't have it, and it's costing a load of money to get anything if you don't have insurance. The cost of insurance is also sky rocketing.

O yea, one more thing, the No CHild Left Behind Act really sucks, it's more like No Child Gets Out Of the Ditch. Instead of supporting poor schools to get better grades, they take the money away while expecting them to do better.

However, i probably would vote for Ron Paul if i were to vote republican but then again, i'm not US citizen or old enough to vote.

O.K. first he voted yes for it to be legal for gays and lesebians to marry!!!Any one crazy enought to support him
go ahead but im keeping my distance!

He's a good man.

But, sadly, he voted against the patriot act. That is sad.

Ron Paul should go back to the asylum he got out of.

I support Ron Paul because I support the Liberty and the Constitution.

The war in Iraq is not Constitutional. The PATRIOT Act is not Liberty. Torture and war is not the America the founding fathers hope to build.

Ron Paul is the only real Republican, something that has not been seen for a long long time. The real republicans oppose nation building and wars. He is for limited government and fiscal responsibility. He's for a non-interventionist foreign policy (meddling in foreign affairs is what's gotten us into these messes).

And most important, he has been 100% consistent over a 30 year voting record.

The other Republican candidates are just more of the same, or worse. They aren't real Republicans. They are looking to expand government in all the wrong ways. They want to continue the immense spending which will eventually bankrupt our country. They continue to think that they can democratize the world using the barrel of a gun. And they also want to continue the inexorable erosion of our rights. These can not and should not be the goals for this country.

Ron Paul has actually made me change my party affiliation to Republican. Why? Because the differences between the democrats and the republicans are few, and this country needs to get back to its roots.

~X~

I support Duncan Hunter because he voted for the Patriot Act
he voted for the war

Ron Paul has some good ideas but his want of isolationism is a major concern of mine.
