Can people really be this stupid part7?

My neighbour works in the operations department in the central office of a large bank. Employees in the field call him when they have problems with their computers. One night he got a call from a woman in one of the branch banks who had this question: "I've got smoke coming from the back of my terminal. Do you guys have a fire downtown?"

My sister was waiting for a bus in England and started chatting to a woman who was also waiting. My sis mentioned that she had lived in Australia for a while. The woman said, "Oh, a guy from my work went to live in Australia. His name is Brian. Do you know him?". My sis said she thought not, but asked for the guy's surname anyway. "Oh, I don't know his surname", said the woman, "but he's got brown curly hair".

That certainly narrowed it down!

damn straight people can be that stupid, my dad used to work on help desk and he lost count of the stupid calls he would get one in paticular people ringing to tell him that their drink holder( cd drive) didnt work
