I accidently browsed an adult website at work. Will I get fired?

I work in a branch of a company. Our computer system are centralised.Today I was so boring at work. So I typed something like ****.....on the url address and a website popped up. I soon switched off the browser. And I deleted the history of the browser so no one will be able to see what I browsed through. It was just a second or two. But I feel so scared afterwards. Will the big brother find out and fire me.
I was using public computer in the office.
Can the central system record the websites that we browsed through?
Thanks
What should I do if they ask me/
I feel so embarassed.
Thanks

If they ask, tell them you accidently opened the web page and then quickly closed it when you saw what it was.

Most companies have all internet traffic go through the company server. As it passes through the server the username, password, computer used, time, and websites visited is logged.

If you did not have to log on the public computer they probably no way to prove it was you.

Employers look closely at what workers do on job

just tell your boss. be upfront with him or her. or they may think you have something to hide, if they find out. good luck.

U cold be fired if they find out, just be careful what you do it is not worth loosing your job.
And yes if the PC that you are on went to a adult site they can find out if they looked also remember big company's usually network the computers and it is possible when you click on a malicious link it can hit the other computers on that network and you can infect every computer in your office.
If they ask tell them that it was typed by error.
