Ok, Ron Paul has never voted to raise taxes, or for for an unbalanced budget, what don't you like about him?.

As the strongest supporter of the Constitution:
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

HE DID NOT BLAME THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FOR THE 9/11 ATTACKS!!!

He blamed US foreign policy!

Why do people keep saying this???

I guess because Faux News said it???

Lately it's been the Paris Hilton channel, they stopped being a news channel way before the other blond bimbo that died. Report It

Thank you. He is not a liberal. He is a traditional conservative (libertarian) and he stands for freedom. You people who are against him - are you anti-freedom?

He is very rare: a politician with integrity. I think it is because he is not a lawyer, he is a doctor.

The only people who are against him are people who would vote for Rudy - that is, people who vote for people with name recognition (which is given by the mainstream media). So these people vote for the selected typical pro-NWO candidates.

There's nothing that I don't like about him. In my opinion, he is the ideal politician. This is also the reason he won't get past the primaries.

I personally don't like him because of the comment he made at the South Carolina debate. I realize it may have come out wrong...etc., regardless it was highly inappropriate.

Same thing I always say, he is crazy to run as a Republican knowing he cannot get the nod from the GOP.

I agree on damn near everything with him, with the exceptions of the death penalty (he's against it) and his weak stance on Islamic terrorist organizations. Personally, I think we need to take them out now before they get stronger and better organized. Iran needs to be dealt with too, not necessarily with military force, preferably through economic sanctions, either way Iran and Islamic terrorists are a major thorn in our side! On this critical issue alone makes me not want to vote for him! He's way to much of an isolationist. I do agree we need to be a lot more non-interventionist when it comes to foreign policy, unless it directly threatens our national security as Islamo Fascism does!

He seems ok to me, but I'll never vote for another Republican from Texas(or Connecticut), as long as I live.

He thinks that we as Americans caused Al Queda to attack the US. That overshadows any of the other accomplishments.

He wants to go back to us pretending that if we just sit here at home the Muslims will ignore us. Hasn't the past decade proven otherwise.

The big brother GOP is scared of him. Some MORONS call him liberal because he refuses to support corporate hand outs and domestic spying. in short, the GOP wannabe conservatives are afraid of anyone who is a REAL conservative. Bush has them all afraid of the big bad arabs, that if you do not support Bush and his flaming liberal agenda, they call you liberal. How ironic!?!?!?

His view on 9/11 - blaming America. That enough of a liberal for me. I heard him on the debates. I wish you Democrats would adopt him.

Even as a Democrat not agreeing with conservative values, I respect Ron Paul for his attempts in restoring the Constitution and his non-interventionist policy as the centerpiece in directing a dramatic reversal from Bush's foreign policy. Ron Paulis a very rare politician to come from a long line of liars and I actually hope to see him somewhere in the Oval Office

Because there is a HUGE difference between true conservatives(Ron Paul), that like freedom, and the others who consider themselves conservatives, that only want to spy on and control everything you do, while taking from the poor to give to the rich..

1. Obsession with lower taxes. - whenever the right want lower taxes what they really mean is unsustainable deficits and cut backs to essential services like education - oh for the day when schools are fully funded but the army needs to have a bake sale to buy a new tank.
2. Isolationism - he is opposed to any and all world wide bodies. He sees them as a threat rather than an opportunity. It is essential that a future US president will want to work with the rest of the world to establish a better world - not undermine the organisations that can achieve that. Many of the issues the world faces are global - they need global cooperation. Hiding behind national borders and waving flags or patriotism are not achieving what we need to achieve.
3. He wants to deport children who were born here - and only know the US as thier home.
4. He just lies - like the bit about how we supposedly went to war because we were ordered to by the UN - the exact opposite of what did happen.

It's funny how the rank-and-file Republicans keep trying to say Paul isn't a Republican.. They don't even take the time to look at his positions, and I doubt any of the negative posters even read your whole question.

Ron Paul is a true conservative and not a lying swindler like most of the other candidates running. A true Republican would at least consider looking at his positions rather than writing him off because the conservative media tells them too. Pretty sad, really.

This is probably the 100th time you have asked & I have answered this question.

1) He blames America for terrorists
2) He is an isolationist.

That's 1more reason than I need.

he just rubs me the wrong way

hes a flaming lib like yourself.

OMFG ITZ TEH GREAT RON PAUL!! HE'S SUCH A PATRIOT LOZ!!

Ron Paul is a joke, you'll find me voting for either Rudy or Thompson. He's an isolationist with unrealistic views and believes we can just ignore the threat of islamic fascism.

Where do you want me to start?

1) He's never voted for federal restrictions on gun ownership.

2) He's against a woman's right to choose.

3) He's opposed free and fair trade.

4) He's completely unrealistic on immigration.

5) While I appreciate his anti-debt stand, he's wrong about the Federal Reserve and their role in our problems.

5) He seems to be blaming Iraq on the UN, which I don't understand. Plus, we have permanent veto power on the UN Security Council so the US have never gone along with a single UN action it didn't want to. We ignore the ones we don't like.

That's just from a few minutes on his website. Given more time, I'm sure I could come up with more.
