I have doubt on Business VISA documentation to visit UK from India?

I am working for a US based S/w company in their Indian offshore development centre in Bangalore.

Before setting up a full fledged branch in London, we want to do a preliminary study in the UK market for our s/w product through a few visits to the UK every 2 or 3 months. My company wants to send me for this. During these visits, I will be meeting prospective customers and giving demos.

Business VISA requires a local UK business house sending an invite to me to visit the UK which I then produce with other documents to the British High Commission Office in India.

For my nature of visit which I have stated above, should I still produce an invite letter? What are the documents required for the Business VISA.

DATA : I am an Indian National and a Science graduate. I am married and have two children. I have traveled once to the UK on a Business Visa way back in 1991.
