Iwrk in head off. brnches dial in thru modems,bt modem at head off dnt reset afta conn, we hav2 switch off&on?

i am in the IT dept workin at head office responsible for all network and machines, branches dial using modems, after they disconnect the modems do not reset. I have to go and switch them off and back on again before branches/ someone is able to connect to the same modem. is there another solution how can i eliminate problem

Nowadays you are better off setting up connections over the internet. Either set for secure external login or better set vpns. This not only is faster and solves your problem, it will save a fortune as you can then dump all the additional lines for the incoming connections.
