Why do Mormon people always having parties in JW Marriott Hotels?

A friend of mine celebrated his grandpa's 90th b-day in Marriott's Pennsylvania Avenue. My lecturer had her wedding also in Marriott hotel.

And my office whose boss is a mormonic 5h1t always does 7 habits and 8th habit craps also in Marriott places - except they held it in Provo. And when we open our new branch in Pacific they booked a MARRIOTT HOTEL in SINGAPORE. I'd prefer Hilton or Holiday Inn for sure

Are these just coincidences? Or You Mormons really love to sleep in Marriott Hotels?

Do the Marriotts give you a special rate?

Well, I'd say it may be because the owner of Marriott is mormon and there are Book of Mormons in addition to bibles in the hotel. It surely isn't encouraged for Mormons to stay in Marriott hotels by the church leadership.

if any one thinks that the church tells us where to stay, they are wrong. the church doesn't care. maybe they just go because a member of the church owns the hotel or maybe because the hotels are very nice.

in the end, it's just a hotel with a bathroom and some beds

The Marriott Center in Provo is the name of a conference center on the campus of Brigham Young University. It was paid for by the Marriotts.

I'm not sure you could find rigorous data indicating that Mormons prefer the Marriott to other hotels. For my wedding, for example, I did not consider them at all, as I find them expensive.

I guess I'm been out of the loop for a while. What's a 'habit craps'?

My buddy in 8th grade was Denny Marriot. I had no idea what his family was into back then...

Probably just had the best price at the time. I don't think there is any Mormon love affair with the public company of Marriott.
