I need some advice.....I dOnt knOw what tO dO???

I will be having a phone interview with Bank of America? *I need help!!*?
My interview s this monday(09/17/07)....last yr around this time of the yr I had applied for BoA too...I had my phone interview & then had an interview at a branch with a the bank manager....and they told me that the next step was to do my background check and finger prints and all the stuff.....I ended up NOT going because since I am not legal i thought it was just going to be a waste of their time and mine just to tell me i wasnt on the system or what ever it s that they tell you. But i recently applied again because I really want that teller position and dont want to be stuck in an office 8hrs just sitting down answering phones and doing invoices....I want to do something different, but now am having my doubts again...should I keep on going and take my chances even if I get rejected or should I simply NOT answer the phone when they call me???? and if I do choose to go on what will i expect to happend?
I need honest opinions and answers

I am sorry i know this question HAS NOTHING to do with pregnancy...but I posted on here hoping that someone will give some advice!!!.....sine i posted somewhere else a while ago and NO ONE has answer it yet!!!

First, get legal before you take a job from someone who is in this country legally. You do stand a chance of being deported, sent back to your home country. Whatever you do, I wish you luck.

If you are not legal, and you are afraid of being caught, why do you keep applying to jobs that you know that they will do a backround check complete with fingerprints? From your post, you admit that nothing has changed from last year to this year, other than you really wanting a change in jobs. Either take the chance and go for the job interview, or stop applying at Bank of America for a job. You are sending a mixed message to the Bank of America and eventually they will stop considering your applications at all.

well considering if you have a kid and you need to support her or him better you have every right you ask a question in this category. i don't know how the USA works as I'm from Canada. but from what i heard about your country and illegal immigrants especially those from Mexico they will just deport you and you lose every thing you own and worked hard for. here in Canada is a different story you could actually become a citizen right away. i don't know maybe you should try to move here and become a citizen and then once you have legal Canadian citizen you are legally allowed to live in the states for 6 months at a time. now about your situation id talk to a lawyer right away about this because if they find out your not legal i'm pretty sure they will deport you. but seriously talk to a lawyer and i wish you luck

I am sorry to have to tell you that being here illegally has its consequences. No big corporation is going to hire a known illegal because of 1) Its illegal, 2) its brings bad publicity for that company when ICE does a roundup, 3) its the wrong take jobs away from legal citizens who have been paying taxes and replacing it with an illegal who just sneak in this country. Its just plain wrong.

Your only hope is to apply to the president of the United States for a job. He seems to be the only one who is above the immigration laws and get away without having to answer to anyone. But the rest of us have to obey the laws of the land. You better apply soon for he is headed out the door.

Have you given any thought of returning to Mexico and working legally there?

i CAN'T STAND illegals!!! i hope you dont get it!!!!!!! because being an american citizen, if i were a single mom, college student, whatever... and went up for that job, and did not get it because some illegal got the job.. i would be SOOOOOOO p*ssed!!!!!!

Do you have your work permit?? As long as you have that then you can get a job anywhere. If you dont have any papers then you cannot work anywhere here in the US (unless its under the table-which i highly doubt the bank will do). My husband is Canadian and got his work papers about 3 years ago, then his conditional green card about a year after that. Before any papers he could not work here.
