What are your opinions on Congressman Dr. Ron Paul (R-Texas) who is running for President of the US?

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul鈥檚 Record
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

N. Cognito, are you paranoid there is no Zionist conspiracy in America.

Also, I can be classified as Zionist because I am both a Jew and believe that Israel should exist, but yet I am a big supporter of Dr. Paul.

He is a libertarian with isolationist leanings. He has his purposes in Congress but should not be President.

I consider him the only viable candidate for President. Considering the offerings so far, I will either vote for him or no one. Zionists are probably terrified of him and their operatives would assassinate his character if they could, hence the first response you got. Paul is the ONLY elected official in our government who has consistently fulfilled his oath to uphold the Constitution, and indeed that is his primary yardstick.
