Is It Me or does it seem like a vote for democrats is a vote for terrorism?

Nancy Pelosi鈥檚 recent trip to Syria represents more than a partisan jab at the Bush Administration and its policies. It goes to the very heart of the constitutional foundation of our republic!

While Harry Reid is waving the Constitution in our faces 鈥?citing the independent power of the legislative branch of government 鈥?he conveniently diminishes the constitutional authority of the Presidency with his statement that the Democrats represent the people, while the President DOES NOT!

The Democrats, and particularly Pelosi and Reid, have apparently forgotten Constitution 101. The power to set Foreign Policy resides ONLY in the Presidency. As long as George Bush holds the office, HIS policy IS the Foreign Policy of the United States.

For that matter, the power to determine the Military鈥檚 mission and it鈥檚 strategies reside with the Commander in Chief 鈥?which role is also held solely by Mr. Bush.

Definitely just you. Terrorism has been used as a convenient excuse to further various agendas, but suggesting that half of the nation supports terrorism directed against the nation is just plain insane.

The president and congress need to COOPERATE in order for things to go smooth. The president can make any decision he likes. But when he needs money to pay for it, he'll have to get the approval from congress. Its simple economics.

The people said that there needed to be another balance of power (YES! limiting the power of the president) and Bush will have to work with it, or end up with unfunded projects.

The last time I looked we didn't have a dictatorship. We have checks and balances in our government for just that reason.
