Democrats and Independents. Are you totally opposed to voting for a Republican even if it was the right one 2?

save this country? I am a libertarian. I am voting for Ron Paul. He is on the GOP ticket but he is a real libertarian. We should unite and elect this man.

He will end the War on Drugs too.

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Ron Paul is the only Republican I like or would vote for. If he doesn't get the nomination from the Republicans hopefully he will run as a Independent so we have a choice, Im tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils.

I like Barack better

I am a Dem and will be voting for Ron Paul as well. He is by FAR the man with the no-nonsense COMMON SENSE responses to these questions that the other Dem candidates trip over themselves trying to answer...

Ron Paul absolutely RULES.

As an independent, yes, I will vote for the person I think is best, regardless of party affiliation.
In my opinion, that is not Ron Paul.

I agree -- Ron Paul is the only candidate from either party who will put the American people first.
RON PAUL 2008!

a libertarian is just a republican who wants to take drugs and get laid.

I actually dig Ron Paul and Mitt. They seem honest enough to modifiy the Republican ticket to improve America.

I am sure you don't honestly think the Republicans will nominate him. So your question is really moot. It is like those of us who though Wes Clark would have made a great president. We knew he was doomed.

look at the polls Paul isn't gonna win

I'm a moderate-to-republican kind of person, but I would have to say something about Ron Paul. i like a lot of what Ron Paul has been doing... but I would want to know

a.) What would he put in place of the patriot act to help protect this country against things like the car bombings happening in Great Britain.

b.) What is his complete stance on regulating the internet, because some things float out there that really ought not be out there for children to find.

c.) What would his strategy be concerning Iraq? How does he ensure that Iraq becomes capable of governing themselves and not becoming a terrorist state?

everything else about him sounds good to me, but he really needs to address things like that, and not in the John Kerry "I have a plan" way... he needs to actually tell us about that plan.

I am a Democrat but I could vote for Ron Paul.Id vote for a ham sammich before I voted for Hillary. No offense intended to Mr.Paul

He has his good points. However, his positions on abortion, gay rights, gun control, and church and state are problematic for me.

Independents might. But if someone thought a Republican was the right person for the country, they probably wouldn't be a Democrat in the first place. So your question is irrelevant.

I've been a Libertarian for years. I had to hold my nose switching to the Republican party. But it all will be worth it. I'm working handing out flyers and doing what I can for Dr Paul. It all will be worth it when its over.

he might be a great guy but he'll never make it through the primaries. i'm a democrat and the issue is i'd never vote for someone the republicans voted through to the final election. some of the more moderate republicans aren't too bad but the bulk of the people who vote republican-religious people, pro-lifers, anti-gay people, rich, etc.-would never vote for a moderate who any dems would vote for.

I've been registered as an Independent, but usually split my vote.

I am changing to a Republican strictly for the purpose of getting Ron Paul a chance to be nominated on the Republican ticket. You see, Ron Paul is a Jeffersonian Republican, and not a current neo-con-Republican.

Here is a current {July 5th} pole showing Ron Paul so far ahead, that there is not enough dust left in the air for the other candidates to dirty their clothes on.

The real question remains to be seen:
Will Ron Pauls grass roots supporters be able to over come the follow the leader {s} mentality of the entrenched neo-con supporters?

I'm personally going after the previously huge numbers of the silent majority.

We Can Pull This Ron Paul Upset Victory Off!
Thank You.
