Without the masses conveniently convinced you have their interests at heart , that you have the same believes as they do ,in hard work, an honest days pay for an honest days work ,and that salvation is mans destiny through Jesus ,that the people would turn against those in power who have set aside any Christian values in favor of making a profit from taxing and controlling the lives of the people who for some strange reason have an underlying sense of accepting authority even when it is crushing them with debt and leads them into poverty .

Is it time for an atheist to step up and run for office on a fair tax and spending program that meets the needs of all the people and not just wealthy investors who profit off the labor of others .
One who feels our nation should not be invading and manipulating other nations .
That we all play by the same rules and Cheney is a member of the executive branch and comes under review from congress and we should remove Bushco from government .

No, not afraid at all. Republicans understand that people have different beliefs that drive them no matter what their spiritual or non spiritual affiliations are. Christians do not like taxes anymore than atheist, Jews, Muslim, Buddhist, Mormons, or who ever.
You are tying to use your reasoning to remove this Administration and you have failed miserably in my humble opinion.

An atheist doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell. We wackos still have principles, even if our elected officials let us down. That's why we have term limits for the presidency.

i don't know about all of that but capitalism is just a modern word for feudalism.where there were not enough lords and too many serfs. any country that lets capitalism control its' government is a fool.

Not at all. I'm a Republican, a believer in Capitalism and I believe in a higher power although, I'm not linked to a specific religion nor am I a supporter of organized religion.

I view Capitalism as free enterprise that is able to compete and not the 'big business monopolies' that we're seeing today. Between monopolizing and proposed Socialism, I envision this country as going downhill.

I would hope no one would be afraid to admit it if that's what they believe in. And I doubt very much if anyone is much interested in a bigot's point of view.
