Is Bush is a fascist?

If you say Yes, then why is he leaving office in 2009 leaving it possible for a person from an apposing political party to replace him, why would he allow an opposing political party to gain control of the legislative branch, and why would he let everyone (and I mean everyone) criticize him?

Fascism:
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

You brought up facts. That will automatically disprove all liberal arguments.

A dictator isn't elected. No, Bush is not a fascist!

No, and I hope you enjoy getting your violation notice!

The Socialists call Bush a Fascist to cover up their plans to turn us into a Communist Nation.
It's just an old commie trick.

Because critics are more interested in name calling than an actual debate on the issues.

not a facist, its easy for the libs to call him that as they obviously dont know what the word means...they might want to push for a little bit better education funding

Bush is a would-be dictator--and your definition is correct--a fascist. However, our system of constitutional government still stands. Don't assume he won't try to extend his attempts to subver the Constitution, however. He may well try to remain in office on some pretext--especially if it becomes clear the Democrats will win in 2008.

Lazy people who want to feed off of the hard work of others are the ones who equate capitalism to fascism. Truth is that more fascist regimes have been born from Socialistic policies than any others. Capitalism has never, as far as I am aware, spawned a fascist government.

Bush is not a fascist by definition.

Bush does carry some of the dictator ethos in his hip pocket though. Call it reactionary or call it micromanagement for fear, but a lot of Bush's policies have actually pushed the government away from the conservative ideal and closer to a fascist state.

Isn't it ironic that it took a Republican to do this? Can you imagine what kind of policies a Democratic leader may have attempted to impose? Who knows . . . its all Monday morning quarterbacking . . .

Lets just start looking for a solid leader to vote for in '08.

what if I say no, will you put me in jail then??

Kinda, shows it more daily.

Your reference to Fascist is NOT the only definition Cooperation of Business Corporations influencing government also play a role in Fascism. Such as big money lobbyist paying for legislation in government etc. Bush is Pro-Fascist pandering to big money interest!

No just an Idiot
