Question about Canadian Intelligence Security Service (CSIS) recruitment, please ?

Suppose a person is an officer in the Canadian Forces and is approaching retirement (as agreed upon in his contract) and now wants to work for The Canadian Intelligence Security Service (CSIS), does his military background have a significant positive effect on his application to CSIS ?

Hi I can't give you a specific guaranteed yes answer as i am a Civvy and I am not Canadian, but I know somebody who runs a Company within a High Security field let's say over here and his police and security Background gave him a high level of Security clearance in the intelligence field!

My Personnel opinion is that yes it would as they would want somebody with a high level of training and intelligence, somebody who is trustworthy and knows an and has an ample amount of experience!
