Microsoft Up Date, Automatically added Service Pack 3...?

To my windows now the windows won't load. it keeps saying
"Windows shut down abruptly or Windows did not shut Down properly"
then it restarts and it keeps doing this over and over. I pressed the F10, F8, F1 keys to try to stop it or to try to do a restore but it when I press any one of the keys nothing happens.
So I broke out my old computer and went to Microsoft's web site and asked them and they said I had to pay $189 for the answer. I'm like WHAT?
Can somebody please help me with this?.
This is a brand new computer I got for my B-Day in April

I can't do anything with my computer.
I don't have the window disk

Do you have your Windows Xp installation disc?
Try pressing F2, F12, F5 this keys work different on every other brand.
Did they ask you to buy a a fresh copy of XP?

Try this.
When you're starting up your computer, spam f8 until u get to advanced boot menu, then scroll to Last Known Good Configuration. if that doesn't work, then go to safe mode and then you can probably restore to an earlier date in time. If then doesn't work, then just uninstall sp3 and you should be fine.

Is it a name-brand?

SP3 blowing up is due to improper installation of XP at the factory... HP/Compaq is the worst offender... I'm assuming you have an AMD processor? (It's not AMD's fault... it's because an Intel CPU hardware driver was left on the system by the company who made the computer)

Call the manufacturer and demand satisfaction.

You can try running a windows repair if you have an original windows disk. Next time, don't let windows update your computer, I haven't let it do that in years, it tends to FUBAR your windows install.

You can uninstall SP3 by using Add / Remove programs. Be sure "Show Updates is checked at the top.
