Name another company guilty of this tactic?

"Tony Sparkes had the most extraordinary phone call from a research company on behalf of the Yellow Pages. It went something like this:

Customer service: Sir, I understand that you recently had an issue concerning your Yellow Pages advert.
Tony: That's right.
Customer Service: I wonder if you have a few minutes to answer a few questions.
Tony: OK.
Customer Service: Has the issue been solved to your satisfaction?
Tony: No, it has not. I am still waiting for a response from someone that knows what they are talking about.
Customer Service: Oh, well, that's all then.
Tony: Sorry?
Customer Service: You don't fit the profile of people we want to talk to.

"I apparently did not fall within the scope of the research. One way to get positive feedback statistics - only talk to happy customers!" he says. "

It's hard to get good help these days, they seem to pass you to one person to the other and they still do not know how to fix the problem. I had the same problem with target about a computer monitor that blew up and it was still in warranty they did not want to do anything about it because they told me the company went bust so I rang consumer affairs and explained the situation and said I was in the right, they have written a letter to them but I am still waiting to hear the outcome.

Apple are bitches on the phone.

No, they can't tell you how to restore your iPod if you've never done it before over the phone, you HAVE to bring it into the store.

Sounds like a news panel I contribute to. They ask a few Qs, then you get a message saying you aren't suitable for the survey. Boy it makes me mad!

Good one, Joey.

I know few countries which are highly known for poor customer service. Too bad.

I think the Budweiser's company do it better even if they're on Bud all the time...

Just try & talk to GE finance over the phone.
