What are some awesome, fun-to-do club fundraisers? (High schoolers and Interactors, answer this, please:)?

I'm the secretary of the Interact Club (a service club sposnsored by Rotary International), and my fellow officers and I are preparing for the 2008-2009 school year. Our high school is brand-new (opened August 07).

This year, we had 70 members or so for our club. We were thinking of doing more activities and fundraisers next year, and I just wanted to ask the Yahoo! Answers public for help. Our club's motto is "service above self".

And when i ask for ideas, i don't mean simple fundraisers as in bake sales, carwashes, etc. though we will do those too. something fun would be great! keep in mind that we ARE a rookie club, just finishing our first year as an existing club.

Thanks everyone!

Our school had a car smash right before a big game with one of our rivals. They spray-painted stuff all over it about the other school too. It's really fun and they raised a lot of money.

Do some sort of raffle. It could be gift certificates to a movie theater or restaurant or something like that. And have people buy tickets and raffle it off. In high school, my economics class did a Valentine's Day raffle. For example, on Valentine's Day we raffled off a box of candy, a little teddy bear with a flower, and a gift certificate for a restaurant. We made a bunch of money from the raffle tickets, more than enough to cover the cost of the stuff.

it would be cool if you cool organize henna tatoos. they are temporary and fairly cheap if you have someone show you how to apply it. plus its a lot of fun.

set up a dance (after homecoming but before turnabout) and get a good dj and good food. this will def. attract the kids
sell tickets at like $7 and $10 at the door?
