Do you ever protest violation notices?

an obamabot reported me for 'abuse'. i protested mine and got this response:

"Hi ladyshondra,

Upon review, we found that the following answer was not in violation of the Answers Community Guidelines or Yahoo! Terms of Service.

"they say he gave them up...but he might relapse as we often do under pressure lol.. i don't know what brand he smoked but i know he serves koolaid to his sheeple."

The Yahoo! Answers Team regrets that your answer was wrongfully reported by the Answers community. Your answer has been reposted to Yahoo! Answers, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Answers.
Thanks,
Yahoo! Answers Team"

always protest a violation, if you know you didn't violate anything and 'someone' wrongfully reported you. i do wish there was a rule that is they do this, they are the ones who should lose their accts'

Yeah! .Victory...i hope they think twice now before they 'abuse' others. Free speech lives.

i posted this in elections because my answer to the question was in elections and i hope the one who reported me, see this.

Every single one. I win about 75% of the time.

Edit:

The other 25% I probably deserve but what the hell....might as well try. :)

couldn't hurt to protest right?

My guess is because you made a sweeping generalization of obama supporters that could be taken as a insult to that groups intelligence, you were reported.

my take on it is....people need to lighten up.

Didn't Al Gore invent the internet as means of making fun of others anonymously?

Come on!

I have only when the notice was was wrong. For example, I got a notice way back when when someone asked "What give American's the right to own guns?" and I responded simply "The 2nd Amendment." I got a violation notice for it "not being a question or answer." I protested and didn't get anywhere.

Yes, the same thing happened to me. Funny thing was my question in way, shape or form violated any of the guidelines. It's just someone being childish because they don't "like" what you asking.

After appealing, my question reappeared on my profile page.

Yes I do I had 5 yesterday and they where completely legit they happened overnight
a friend of a friend told me that some people that work for the Obama campaign do nothing but crawl the Internet and try to get rid of anything that is against his campaign

This gives us hope, I too have found at least Yahoo. will answer .where you are right or wrong. Most of the time i have been guilty, as the name Obama does terrible things to me LOL. And I just can't be quoth about it sometimes. But glad you won.!!!! yippee

yes I have protested 3 violation notices in the past weeks. the questions that got deleted were about mccain and yahoo restored them and said they were not in violation of the YA rules

I did a couple of times, to no avail. I guess protesting doesn't help. Like in basketball, once a call is made, it is never changed.

I got a clean JOKE about mother-in-law, violation.
No response like that.

I hope they don't arrest me. If they kick me off here, I may kill myself.

Please don't report me.

i did about 15 times already, but nothing happened.

freedom of speech have been hijacked by the obamabots.

I always respond and have had about 80% found to be unwarranted.

Congratulations!

Yes I do, unless the violation is deserved.

I did it twice. They never got back to me either time. So I just gave up.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!
You rock.
Thanks for the heads up.I do protest, I have one in now. We'll see how it comes out.

I have about a 75% success rate.

The few that I don't win on are usually ones where I try to explain when certain derogatory terms are used and some dummy thinks that I am using them myself. Then I assume the person responsible for reviewing them must fall into the category of those terms because they never reinstate them.

Also, I had an answer deleted once because I suggested that the asker's train of logic was consistant with Schizophrenia. That's the last time I try and recommend a kook get help.
