Wll this video card work with my computer?

I recently discovered that my programs that have lots of animations and my visual styles for windows XP was making my computer lag not to mention i couldnt play good games with my pc so i decided to upgrade from horrible integrated video to a PCI Radeon 9000 with 128 MB of ram the card comes with drivers and cords so im wondering will this compat with my computer i have 1.5 GB of ram windows XP pro service pack 2 thank you for any answers that help!!!!
