Running for senior class president?(not really popular)?

im running for senior class president
ive been in asb as a senator for the last 2 years
i getting to be better know because im in debate, track, multicultural club but alot of people still dont know me

im not a really popular person
people like me though
im nice
im smart and i always help out

how can i get more votes and win despite the fact that im running against really popular kids
i am determined to change what is always happened

a popular person who isn't going to do anything will not win this year
how can i improve my chances of winning?
how can i get the message out that they should vote for the better canidate not the more popular one

if it helps heres what im involved in and stuff

president of debate team
captain during last track season
next year ill be pres. of the multicultural club
this year i was vp
and i do tons and tons of community service and i take advanced classes

girl you got a lot going for yourself!! GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF THE BUSHES AND TALK TO SOME PEEPS!! lol try to get some close friends to help you with a campaign. as long as the popular kids stay popular, they'll win, you need to get help from teachers and people that are more outgoing to get your name known! ask some students what they want to see happen at school and see what you can honestly do

Other than kiss everyones butt I don't know what to tell you. If you're running against someone who is popular you're fighting an uphill battle. By the way you're in plenty of activities so if you're concerned about getting into an ivy league college or something I think your chances are still good w/o being student president.

ok so running for president is hard...i did it, and lost, but i know what i did wrong. i did a BORING speech....my grade wasnt about popular and unpopular when it comes to voting, it was ALL about the speech and the posters...dont PROMISE ANYTHING, but give ideas like...raising money for cancer, and go all green day, and bring a dollar to save the earth lol. well good luck, and win for me haha bye bye

You need to start talking to the popular kids more often, braoden your "circle". Be that girl who can be cool with anyone, and not be afraid to be friends with the "not so cool" kids.
