Non popular person running for senior class prez?

Running for senior class president?(not really popular)?
im running for senior class president
ive been in asb as a senator for the last 2 years
i getting to be better know because im in debate, track, multicultural club but alot of people still dont know me

im not a really popular person
people like me though
im nice
im smart and i always help out

how can i get more votes and win despite the fact that im running against really popular kids
i am determined to change what is always happened

a popular person who isn't going to do anything will not win this year
how can i improve my chances of winning?
how can i get the message out that they should vote for the better canidate not the more popular one

if it helps heres what im involved in and stuff

president of debate team
captain during last track season
next year ill be pres. of the multicultural club
this year i was vp
and i do tons and tons of community service and i take advanced classes

ask all of your friends to introduce you to their friends that you arnt really friends with. do that to your friends friends etc
before you know it you have a whole now group of friends that you never knew you had.
if your description of yourself is correct(i dont doubt that)then youll have no trouble clicking with new people.
if you cant do that, just talk to someone new in one of your classes about anything.
expand your friendship horizons.
theres always someone waiting for a friend.
You could always be that friend. (and get a vote out of that friend.)
just remeber to be yourself around people. who doesnt want a genuine person as class prezident?

Don't ever try to be someone you're not to get votes......they can smell it a mile away.
Talk about what your passionate about, what YOU think is important.
You are going to be an important person when you're out of school, let them know that. High school kids don't always make an informed decision, help them with that by telling them what they are already thinking. Keep in mind that it's high school, not everyone thinks it matters as much as you do.

Get your self a campaign manager. Make it hip and fun but get what you want to do across to the people. Also start getting to know more people. Say Hi ask them how they are? A good listener and a helpful person is the best to be around and when it comes to the vote they will remember you.

By the way, you are not "non-popular." You got elected as veep, didn't you? And it is logical for the veep to succeed the president the following year. Who is running for veep this year? Maybe two of you could run together as a "slate" the way they do at the national level, prez and veep. Have a platform of projects you will carry out. You could pick a catchy name for it. Sometimes novelty goes a long way. Share resources, friends and a popular campaign manager. Pick a popular veep candidate, combine forces, and groom her for being uber-responsible next year when she runs for prez in your footsteps.
