Wireless question for Comtrend CT-5621 ADSL2+ Router?

Does the word "router" mean it is capable of wireless internet? Is this comtrend able to go wireless? If so, what is the i.p to type in the address bar...(after searching it seems 192.168.1.1 is very common for many routers so I tried that)

I typed in the i.p 192.168.1.1 in my address bar and when asked for the username and password, I cannot log in. I have tried "admin, admin" and "root, root" but neither work. Does anyone know another combination to try? Or does this mean my isp has changed them from the defaults? (The router came with the dsl service provided by a local isp.)

Thanks, I'll award a best answer.

Comtrend鈥檚 CT-5621 ADSL2+ Router consists of four Ethernet ports and a USB Interface. The CT-5621 can operate in bridge or router mode, enabling several PCs to simultaneously access the Internet.

It is NOT a wireless Router.

It can be configured but there really is no need to configure it.
Just plug in the computers to the Ethernet ports and they should work.

If they don't change the computer's network setting to Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS address automatically.

I think you have tried 192.168.1.1 and you get a box for the password. Then try this Admin or admin the password try password or blank.

No one changed the default but try to get the password and the username back of the router.

The other thing is if its not saying wireless router its not wireless unless written on the box.
