Unable to process request at this time -- error 999.?

I have received the infamous "Sorry, unable to process request at this time -- error 999" on multiple occasions when I try to post an answer with links. I sent an email to Yahoo Answers support and I got an explanation that the problem must be with my internet service provider.

I did some experimentation. Often I use wikipedia as a reference for my answers so I try to include their link in my post. But whenever I include a link to wikipedia.org, I get that error message. If I remove that link from my post, my post displays correctly. But when I reinsert the link, I get the error message. Any other link I include posts correctly.

Why doesn't Yahoo Answers like wikipedia.org links?

This is when there is a problem adding http://www. addresses.
Gremlins cause it from time to time.
Post the www. And address and ask that they add the http:// to the address provided, and don鈥檛 post in the source box.
This should work.
