Violation notices?

I received a violation notice for a question. The question was not against ToS or the User Guide, so I challenged it - 2 days and no answer. I've now received a second violation for an answer that was no where near as bad as a lot of answers on here. Does anyone think I might be under investigation??? How many people have received such bad, almost KGB/Gestapo esque customer service off companies? I'm thinking about suspending my yahoo account over this, I've lost a lot of trust and goodwill for them (after all, companies make money off us through advertising revenue) - does anyone out there have similar experiences?

I put this corporations as the company is a corporation, but mainly because there is no direct subject area for this question OR for many questions - and like has been stated this can be viewed as violation!

They stopped giving reasons for why they have deleted answers and questions (for me that is). They just tell me that my questions have violated their terms.

There terms should read "You will receive violation notices if your answers or questions are so good that they make stupid people think and offend those without brains".

I had an answer deleted yesterday... the q: Elephant, mouse ladybird or ??? cant remember the other animal... anyway that was it... so i put "what?? is that even a q?" when emailed about my violation, the asker even apologised for the vaugueness and i have appealed but heard nothing.


Also yesterday i asked who was ill today?- that got deleted for being "chatty" on YA we have to ask serious non chatty questions

Also again, i wrote a question on violation which wasnt really a question just a rant and this wasnt deleted, but then i wrote a question asking about appeals and this did get deleted. WHAT? it makes no sense and im very annoyed...

My answer will probably get deleted, it wouldnt suprise me... nice knowing ya question lv answer xx

i had violation notices like you did but my account was deleted whitout warning.
i was soooo pissed by that!!!!
and i dident know why my questions and awnsers were deleted because they didnt give me a reason.
but im back and ready to rumble.

I also recieved violation notices without an explanation. I had one account deleted. I hate the adverts and when my security has expired, I will purchase an advert blocker as they are so irritating.

Even this question violates the community guidelines!

Is there some reason it is posted in the Corporations category?

All it takes is ONE person to report it.

yes and it makes me so angry since its probably from stupid idiots who are randomly reporting questions for the sake of it.
