Business wise, how long do you think is too long to wait for e-mails?

I'm trying to order something from a guy- I sent two questions through e-mail and he answered them. I placed my order, and he's answered it within a span of two days.
However, he only seems to answer his e-mails at midnight which, isn't convenient when I'm trying to get information from him quickly to send a money order.

It's just a little frustrating I guess when you are used to quick responses when it comes to ordering things. I'm not too worried because people say he's a good guy and has quality service.
But what do you think is too long to wait?

If he is as reputable as you say, then it could merely be a case of him being understaffed and just doesnt have the time to respond in a timely manner

Less than 24hrs is great service and less than 2 business days is considered common business practice.

He probably doesn't live in your time zone. The World Wide Web allows him to operate from anywhere....he could be a soldier overseas or living in Australia...

Being American I understand - I want it now....but we are the only ones who operate this way...
