Which phone should I get?

I'm getting a phone on tuesday (may,27 2008). The service is att i want a blackberry pearl 8110 or a Sony Ericsson W580i Walkman

plzz chose a phone thats suitable and better for a 12 year old... ASAP!

you shouldn't go around advertising your age... that is irrelevant, and most kids at 12 don't need a cell phone anyways... but you might, i don't know

don't bother getting an internet plan for either of these phones, they both take forever to load normal webpages because they have a slow modem connection. and i would go with the w580, because if you buy a pearl you'd be paying for features you most probably wouldn't use.

I'd go with the blackberry,cause i find sony ericsson's increcidbly hard to use...
maybe cause i've only had moto phones b4..

the sony one looks nicer
