Chances for university of michigan?

im from connecticut and vietnamese and im interested in the university of michigan, however i was wondering what my chances were for this university
i have a 3.94 gpa
my sats are 1600 total, not good at all
my extra curriculars are amazing though; varsity indoor and outdoor track and field, historian of national honor society, tri-m music honor society, vice president of the interact service club, senior class president, student council, marching band, over 100 hours of community service
i am in the top 10 percent of my class
i will be applying for financial aid, and i know the university is very expensive for out of state so am I out of my mind for applying? my family does not make that much money
i've taken all honors classes and so far 2 aps (chemistry and us history)
Next year i will be taking 3 more aps (biology, calculus ab and psychology)

Your GPA is fantastic, but you definantly need to raise that SAT score. UofM will love your leadership experience because they are the self proclaimed "leaders and the best."
I suggest you raise your SAT to at least 2000 to get accepted. Also, killer essays and recomendations will help.

If you are a Michigan resident, you might have a chance. If not, then I think your SAT score will keep you out. You should still try. Make sure that you write a killer admissions essay.
