Donot you think that govt. servant should be paid highest(should be answered other than Govt. Servant)?

in private sector or bussiness everyone from the lower stage to the propriters everyone works for higher earnings/profits but the services that are provided by the govt. servants are purly for the benefit or public to make their life easy. If in ones bussiness he does well he get well but in govt. services govt. servant remains ineffacted and waits only for his salary. In other countries services paid heavily to make them accountable and relexed.

Don't you hate from the Govt.Servant all they have auctioned out the country by their misdeed in collusion with politicians.You go to any State Govt Office or Central Govt. office barring pew Govt. Servants everybody is busy for filling up their pockets.They don't need any pay hike.

Corruption is a product of greed. However high a salary you pay to the bureaucrat,it will not eradicate corruption. Nor will it bring efficiency.
As regards equality in pay with the private sector, are the Babus ready to work their butt out and be accountable? Why they should be paid more for what they do less anyway?The bureaucrats I have seen are there to make the citizens life more difficult and not easy like you said.They don't take the simplest of decisions and push the files around. They are accountable to another bureaucrat only and not to the citizen.Yes, the Government servant waits for his salary because in the interim he has nothing to do.
The British hoisted this yoke called Bureaucracy on us and we have unwittingly made it in to the Frankenstein that it is today.

yes i totally agree to your point. However... the govt can control the wage levels it can pay to its employees. But, can't control the wage levels in private sector. In Australia, there is quite a bit inequality between different income levels and one of the main aims of the govt is to REDUCE INEQUALITY LEVELS! So, from my point, govt is doing the right thing economically but wrong thing morally.

You are right,but see most of the bureaucrats are dishonest.My mum and dad are both KAS officers but have been honest throughout....and the poople who were once in their same batch are now ranked as their seniors just coz money talks...and talks a lot...These people have fixed portions of money to be given to each officer once a file gets cleared,so much so,that my mum's share which she has always refused is also being used up by them....This is the height of dishonesty...if you raise their salaries,they'll get even richer...the ones who deserve credit never get it..the power and money hungry individuals go on becoming richer day by day.......so,that's not at all a solution...the thing is these dishonest officers need to be checked,only then can we think of higher salaries.

NO.. i think most of govt employee is not deserve the higher salary.. coz:
- Nagative attitude toward work
- Negative attitude towards customer
- Attitude to take salary not to do work
- just think about promotion and salary hike.. without proper work
- more currupt
many other things.. LONG LIST...

in government sector people HARDLY WORK, so why do they need salary as 99.99% are CORRUPT bast....s
