hi long story short short...... ex of 3 years dumped me through text i was really down bout it.......so used a psychic text service bla bla bla.... been talking to his sister alot latly and yesterday i randomly got text saying congrats on getting your job. sisters name just told me. hope your ok........i dont understand its been like what over 2 months since he dumped me and out of the blue he text me....... im confused why wouldnt he of just told his sister to tell me he said congrats? should i text him bk or just leave it?

Did you get to know his sister? maybe she just wanted to say congrats, nothing to do with him.

Text him back and just say thank you. You dont want to seem desperate to talk to him, no matter how much you want to. This will show him that your not eagar to talk to him but your being friendly!

Jeez...just text a "Thank You" and move on. Why do people have to read all kinds of stuff into simple message. He congratulated you on a new job, say thanks, move on. End of story.
