Why did I get a email from Yahoo?

I got this email today:

It was sent at 17:42:12 (5:12 pm) on May 30th 2008 (today)
Subject "Message from Yahoo"
What does this mean! Do I really have to pay for the account? And what happens if I don't, do you think it will really be deleted? Also, is there anyway to transfer all of my yahoo emails to my gmail account??? thx!

No this is a scam... Someone is trying to steal your personal information. Yahoo will only charge you if you signed up for Pop3 Access. That link is dead anyways it could be someone placing a prank on you.

I don't know whether that email is fake or not. There are a lot of people that send that kind of stuff to get your bank account details. You should try to contact Yahoo and see what they say. Also, I think there is a way to transfer your Yahoo emails to your Gmail account, but I don't know how exactly.... I think you go into your Gmail account and then there is something about joining accounts.

becareful it could be a scam or a virus just to get your credit card info...dont click on any links or anything..i got a fake email once from paypal and it was a trick saying i had bought soemthing for 1,000 and i knew good and well i didnt

I think, that is a scam, it tricks you to give them your money saved in the internet.

Jimmeh is right, its just some wanker trying to get ur bank details so they can steal ur money. Report is as 'phishing scam' and delete it! =)
