Do I have a chance getting into UCI?

I apologize for asking this question so much, but I rarely receive thorough answers. Here's me

-California resident
-about to become a senior
-Weighted 10th grade semester gpa's : 3.16 and 3.33
Weighted 11th grade semester gpa's: 4.33 and 4.5
-This year, I was on JV tennis, and I have a guaranteed spot on Varsity next year for defeating #2 and #3 varsity singles in a few matches.
-200 hours community service at a hospital
-2100 SAT score
-Link Crew and Interact Club member
-played the drums and percussion for 3 years
-after high school, I'll have 3 years foreign language, 2 years elective, 4 years english, 4 years math, 4 years science with labs, 3 years social studies

Do you think I have a shot at Irvine? If not, how about UCSC? I know I don't have the best overall gpa, but will they like my improvement?

Hey there, i think you still have a pretty good chance based on your junior year. The thing that UC schools do not really look at is clubs. But looks like you have community service and sports, so that makes you more than a student. Remember to consider applying to CalStates as well. Good luck=]
