Think of 3 reasons why we have rules and laws in society.
Think of 2 reasons why punishment is necessary in society.
Think of 2 reasons why punishment is not necessary in society.

This is on my revision sheet, im not sure what the answers are and i really need help!!!

These are key words in the 10 commandments are these definitions right...
What do the following words mean: honour, in vain, Sabbath, covey, covenant, adultery, false witness, holy?
Honour: Respect
In Vain: 2 not disrespect gods name
Sabbath: a day of rest and worship
Covet: To wish for something eagerly
Covenant: the agreement between god and the ancient Isrealites, in which God promised to protect them if they kept his law and were faithful to him.
Adultery: When someone cheats on another person while there is a relationship
False witness: a person who tells a lie dellibretly.
Holy: dedicated or devoted to the service of there religion.

To me covet is to want something that your brother has

Holy is total perfection

If everyone can do what they think is right in their own eyes, then basically you have utter chaos.

Without the fear of punishment, why would any person change their behavior.

The Bible clearly states that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Adultry also includes any sexual behavior outside of marriage. God Bless...
