Will this go on my credit report?

I've been receiving magazines in the mail that I did not subscribe to, at first i thought it was some free trial thing, but then i got some bills. I've basically been ignoring it all, throwing it all away, even the magazines (after flipping through them, of course) None of them are in my exact name. (ex. Tangler, they wrote Tangly) I'm worried this is going to get put on my credit report. I called to explain what ws going on and a customer service woman suggested that this was a prank. I don't intend to pay for any of the magazines. Also i live in a apartment with three different people on the lease. (if this makes any difference)

Can anyone answer my question??

Nothing can go on ur credit report like that. ist the credit burau will ask them for ur address and full name along with ur social. since they do not have ur exact full name this is the end of the discussion.enjoy the rest of ur magazines.

No it won't. We've been getting those dumb magazines for more than 2 years now. Even when they send those renewal letters and we throw them out, they still come.
Now that I think about it, we did get a call from someone saying that we had to pay the bill. We didn't and it hasn't been reported.
Once, I signed up with DoubleDay books and paid them $92 because I owed it to them, but the person that called said it wouldn't go on my credit report, it'd go on my credit index with the company.

Just send the bill back with a note that you did not subscribe. You usually pay for a magazine subscription in advance anyway, so the bill may be for the whole year when you may have only received a few issues. You did not mention how long this has been going on.

I don't think they would put it on your credit but you never know and is it worth it for such a small amount?

I've never heard of anything like that going on someone's credit report, and I've had a few of them myself that didn't get paid. Basically it'd cost more for them to try to collect than the account is worth.

I'd do like suggested and send the bill back along with a letter stating you never signed up for this service. Chances are that'll be the end of it.
